Extending Quick Find in FileMaker 11

We’ve written a short article describing how to modify the Quick Find feature in FileMaker 11 so it runs your own scripts. We’ve found this feature to be a little misunderstood, but with a few modifications this is one of our favorite features of 11.

Examples include opening URLs, fast data entry, and calling help systems. Our favorite of course is using Quick Find to trigger fmSearchResults, the google-like search extension for FileMaker. More here.
