The New DayBack Calendar in Claris Pro
Happy to report that DayBack for FileMaker 19 works great in Claris Pro with no changes required
DayBack Classic - Changes Required
The older DayBack Classic also works in Claris Pro, but requires a few changes. To make these changes, backup your file, make sure you have the latest version of DayBack Classic, then follow the instructions here…
Your Claris Pro Calendar: Instructions for DayBack Classic
1. You’ll need to update the web viewer calculation on the Calendar layout. For sc_fmpProtocol, you’ll need it to use the Claris path: Case ( sc_appVersion ≥ 18 and sc_appVersion < 40 ; “fmp” & sc_appVersion & “://” ; sc_appVersion ≥ 40; “claris://” ; “fmp://” )
2. Next, you need to update a couple of scripts. First, the script “Get FMP URL Permission for Windows 19.3”. You need to update step 11 for setting the $html variable with the same thing you did above for the sc_fmpProtocol: Case ( sc_appVersion ≥ 18 and sc_appVersion < 40 ; “fmp” & sc_appVersion & “://” ; sc_appVersion ≥ 40; “claris://” ; “fmp://” )
3. Just like #2, you’ll need to update the script “Get Webviewer Calendar FilePath” on lines 36 and 39 with the same changes. For the sc_fmpProtocol: Case ( sc_appVersion ≥ 18 and sc_appVersion < 40 ; “fmp” & sc_appVersion & “://” ; sc_appVersion ≥ 40; “claris://” ; “fmp://” )
